no, but I've played all 82 and Tampa is 1pt behind with three games left (including one v. CBJ's CPU...) why do you ask?

40ROW (top 5 in the league I believe) and still out of the playoffs.

and vnecker I wasn't being sarcastic, sorry it came off that way

That number is skewed because I went 0 for 6 against Montreal.

I should obviously be first.

Now that this year is all but over for me, I'm interested to see how my players progress in the offseason. Should see some nice jumps from Galchenyuk, Gallagher, Eller, Leblanc, Subban, Beaulieu and Tinordi.

I know there are guaranteed jumps for a few of those (LL especially), but I specifically gave increased ice time to some others (Beaulieu especially) hoping that might be reflected in their progress. I expect to be disappointed though, I get the feeling progression is entirely predetermined...

I am hoping so..
Thats the reason I played Maatta all season, though unless there are injuries, he probably will not see any playoff action this season.

I'm kind of hoping right now that performance doesn't affect improvement solely because Seth Jones's season was a lost cause. He played 9 games, got injured for 50, came back for 17 more, and now is out for the next 31 games, all while getting only 6 assists and a -9 rating in 26 total games.

But as a whole, it would be a lot better if performance mattered.

From what I've seen in sims, progression doesn't seem to take much (if any) input from a players individual performance. I've seen prospects and young players put up monster seasons and have no progression at all, and others do nothing and progress.

It does seem that a teams performance has a bit of an effect on prospects though, at least from what I've seen. I've seen 4-5 sims with the Stars, and the years they made the playoffs (and further rounds) the young guys always seem to jump an extra point or two.

How do people not feel bad about using BHFH. Like it's not that big of a deal but I'm always like aww...dooooouche...

If I'm in tight I will sometimes do it just instinctively to get a forehand shot off. Even then I try to go five-hole.

There are so many options for a breakaway that going BHFH is just saying "I'm unoriginal and just want the W."

I'd feel bad if i used a BHFH and didn't score, then got another breakaway like a period or so later and tried it again and scored. Usually I'll try and do it once a game but only after I've tried other options (toe drag backhand top shelf, one timer, top shelf snipe, etc). I won't go back to it unless most of these are tried already.

There comes a point where if you avoid it all the time, u end up using the same move of another move instead sometimes lol I've caught myself avoiding the bhfh so much where my toe drag back hand can come off as my new cheese move

Argar knows this from our Bluth Club games haha

......I'm unoriginal and just want the W. ;) To be fair only one of my goals, the first one was BHFH, I don't think I use it excessively.

On another note, in the the Ovechkin/Tavares matchup, Tavares started off by dropping the gloves vs Ovechkin but Ovehckin passed. (what a softy), Ovechkin followed that up with a hat trick in a Caps 4-1 win.

Good games :sens and :caps

Ovy didn't want anything to do with that goon ;) Just needs 1 point in the last game to break the tie at 91 points (although he was injured for 5 games during one of the sims). GG.

Yup, ought to be a great matchup. Hopefully Crosby scores a couple more own goals off the faceoff ;) A :caps ROW in their last game will guarantee them home ice in the first round.

Kings need 2 points in 3 games to get that #1 seed in the West. Pretty crazy to think that any of NSH, ANA, CGY, WPG, and MIN could fill out those #7 and 8 seeds.

Devils are officially taking the captaincy away from Salvador, and giving it to Cam Janssen.
