what's the future for beaulieu... at first he was "suppose" to replace markov someday but he's having 9 pts in 64 games this year. I know he's not playing on the PP and that habs aren't scoring a lot ( pretty sure his playing time is mostly with the 3rd and 4th line).

His skating is great but a top 4 is probably the max for him, wich is good in itself.

They wanted him to establish his defensive game in the NHL so he could survive and not be a liability, the offense will come in time. 22 is very young for a d-man.

This team really missed his speed and puck moving abilities.

Hopefully he can be even better tonight.

Beaulieu is awesome! I love the kid. He's only 22 years old and he's already a full time NHL player. I think he will get better offensively later on in his career but for right now all he needs to focus on is his defensive responsibilities and team play. Most NHL d aren't even full timers until they are in their mid twenties. Beaulieu is head of that curve.
