I think we should all be thankful for the way this team fell apart. Imagine somehow we sustained the pace at the start of the year, this same flawed team would be given another chance for a few seasons.

I see this season as a step closer to the stanley cup. This core will be removed, and new players under Shanahan's vision will be brought in. I think Shanahan will like players with a similar style to his, and that is exactly what this team needs. CHARACTER guys.

Doubt he is allowed to sell the team he created (or extended). Hopefully he is fired and Hunter can take over on an interim basis to sell the core.
