Because Bryce Young isn’t eligible for another year and you’re gonna need to tank to get him.
Is Gettleman in charge of hiring the HC? I doubt he should be allowed to pick another one.

How good are the Giants? Cause, I think Wilson and the Hawks should be done. With LV, Chi, Dal out of the picture from his original list, that just leaves NO who are always tight to the cap, but seem to make it work each year. Wilson may need to increase his list. Plenty of open QB spot, like WFT, Pit, Den, Cle (upgrade) as well, but those spots don't appear a fit for Ciara, like NYG does.

First 8 games dolphins point difference was -97
but now, if they win their next game by at least 11 points,
their point difference is on the + side...

Another NFL record?

For a nice summation of why the Browns are having a disappointing season, this writer took a hard look at how Baker performs in game winning drive situations and in fourth quarters. It's not good. It's bad. When games matter most, Baker falls apart.

Last season, he was able to be a bus driver in many fourth quarters because the Browns built up leads and held on to win. This season, thanks to covid and injuries, the Browns have needed Baker to make plays in the fourth quarter to win games, and he's not capable. He's come up short pretty much every time he's asked to win them a game.

The Browns tanked in the worst way to get their QB, and he's not the guy. It really sucks.

In the last four minutes of games the Browns have trailed by one possession or less this season — when quarterbacks have to be at their best — Mayfield has been at his worst. He’s 11 of 26 for 74 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions, according to Sportradar. His passer rating is 17.8. Only Sam Darnold and Jacob Eason have worse ratings.

For those still clinging to the injury excuse, Mayfield is 59th in the NFL since 2018 under the same circumstances. In 16 games the Browns were trailing by one possession in the last four minutes, he’s 35 of 71 for 415 yards, four touchdowns and six interceptions. His passer rating is 51.1 and his six interceptions lead the league. This isn’t an injury issue. It has been four years in the making.

Need more proof?

Mayfield is the 31st-rated quarterback this season in fourth quarters (Matthew Stafford, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen and Rodgers have been the best).

Mayfield is 41st in fourth quarters throughout his career, wedged firmly between Jameis Winston and Josh Rosen. His 18 career interceptions in fourth quarters are the second most in the NFL since 2018.

Lloyd: Baker Mayfield's mounting failures might leave Browns in familiar position of looking for an upgrade

I honestly believe they took him because he wanted to come there. I would have taken Saquon and Darnold at 4 (Giants were not going to replace Eli and Baker would be a Jet)

The Raiders one you can excuse since at that point, the Raiders were an actually functional football team. They had no business losing to Atlanta and especially ****ing Urb.

This dude is an ass hole if true ,and it's believable.
The game here is that he isn’t being tested again until before the Super Bowl. So he doesn’t have anything to gain - or lose - until then.

Imagine the flags being thrown at GB players so they won't have to worry about Rodgers holding the SB hostage, bet his teammates love this idea.
Guys a world class selfish prick.
