I agree they aren't super useful this early in the season, but I don't mind seeing how it evolves from that opinion stage to the actual judgments and projections from on the field play.

Alabama Number 1 Cause Clemson didn't beat GT by enough and Alabama is in the SEC... (BTW for what it's worth Alabama actually plays a team this week not used to that except in their conference schedule... No Alcorn State doesn't count...Nor does Podunk U They also schedules FSU for a first game a couple years ago. Then FSU fell to pieces.. )

You forgot: Just as things start looking promising, probation.

It's frustrating too watching State get hit by sanctions and NCAA discipline while anything involving UNC just gets swept under the rug (fake classes, player stipends/treatment, starting a fight after the game)

Wouldn't have been surprised to see Weak Florist lose. But their QB was really good tonight, and he had to be since he only got to show out a bit last season because of an injury to Sam Hartman, their true freshman stud QB.

Colorado vs. Colorado State has been a really good one so far.

Lucked out on that one. Newman continues to show the late game magic, but the defense on both sides was bad.

Hoping bad tackling is a game 1 issue. If not, it will be a long season.
