Hutton made timely saves.
Bogo had a good game
The shorty
Scandella with maybe his best game this year

U:
The crater in the middle of our lineup
The refs missing calls and making them to decide the game. The boys sucked too, but the refs gave Boston this win

I have a hard time believing the bruins win that game without the officiating. And I rarely pull that card.
I pull it all the time. The officiating in this league is infuriating.
42 f***ing shots against. 18-5 in the third alone. That’s pathetic.

Letdown losses are the literal worst. Go through the entire game feeling like two points are coming, and then they don’t. We got one, but that should have been two for us. Needed to be two.

I’m not mad about the missed calls against Boston because we never f***ing score on the laughable powerplay anyway. I’m angry they called the penalty on Buffalo after putting the whistles away the other way. That’s grade A bullshit

And no more f***ing Ristolainen in overtime. He’s a brain dead liability who, the best I can guess, doesn’t know which team he plays for when there’s that much space.

Also Hutton is now 1 game over .500. Seven losses in his last 8.

Seen enough of him as a starter

Remember when we were the freewheeling fun to watch team that was shooting in the high 30’s to 40’s every night? I have no idea where those guys went. We’re back to low 20’s being the norm and it’s a goddamn problem.

Yup. This kind of games stings the most. We’re in for a long winter if this team doesn’t figure out how to close these games out right.

How much more of this team do you need to see before you decide to call up help from Rochester?! There is zero offensive creativity outside of the first line. Meanwhile we have the top goal scorer from the SHL, Nylander in a rebound year and Smith leading both of them in points.

I get you don’t want to trade firsts and I’m on board with that but COME ON. Enough is enough make a god damn move.

That game was very winnable. To bad they couldn't do it.
I wonder, how many more seasons of losing will Jack take before demanding a trade.
Do something Botterill!!!

This kind of loss has happened way too many times this year, usually at home.

Which is weird since we are now 12-4-3 at home.

Think about it, flyers, panthers, flames, and now bruins where we lead for a large part or most of the game only to collapse in the third or overtime.

I felt like I was stabbed in the heart after this one but maybe it’s for the best we learn we need to not just try and defend a one goal lead and go for it, and not try and be to cute on the PP when it’s 4 on 3.

Simplify get one timers stop trying to make the pretty play.

That was one of the sloppiest games I’ve seen the Sabres play.

They deserved to lose.

Botterill and Housley better figure this out ASAP.

The look of this forward group screams 9th-12th place finish. You can’t rely on one line especially when they can get hooked and held into submission by a bunch of noname players on teams like Florida and Boston.

That was Eichels worst game in months.

He had a few awkward hits tonight, hoping he didnt get banged up

Boston, Pens and Isles should cruise past us

Not to mention teams adding at the deadline will improve

This team is fading fast
Botts will get added to this list if he continues to do nothing to address the lack of secondary scoring

Good:
Lightning just scored against Montreal 6-5
Scandella looked useful again
Bogo

Ugly:
Botts the procrastinator - it's too late now anyway.
