In all seriousness, the concept of this all seems silly. Adults spending hours each week arguing with strangers about things we have no control over.

Today I told someone their reply was stupid and yesterday I said someone was a dick. Being a regular poster is way better.

I also get along really well with some guys who, before, I didn't get along with so well. I kind of had a "Lighten up, Francis" moment.

In all honesty we never treated sponsors any differently. I remember a few people that I started to go after for chronic shitposting and they ended up getting a sponsor account, thinking it would shield them. It didn't. And I vividly remember a couple specific users who emailed us demanding their sponsorship dues be refunded because they were being treated "unfairly" by the mods.

The sponsor stuff was always nice, but most of the revenue came from ads. So we were always okay to go after a guy even if he was a sponsor, since it wasn't a big deal (and we already had the 12 bucks from them anyway).
