can we not explore a Collin Miller trade rather than spunk god knows how much on utter garbage in FA?

Tanev will be traded at the trade deadline after an easier workload this year due to a better defence. It will make up for the first lost in the Miller trade.
They will not be getting rid of him until then at the least as he is signed to a great cap and can only increase his value. Being a RHD he will hold value and fill a role here.
after picking up miller i am totally lost as to how we do much without moving out large salaries. buyout spooner maybe, but how are we even in a conversation with myers until we move tanev or sutter?
Its really not hard if you're not a moron.Explain in detail how youd dump salary
So your answer is a non answer. Thanks for clarifying. Because none of what you said is realisticIts really not hard if you're not a moron.
Keep hearing how sutter and tanev have value, thats 8+ million right there.
Then there's baertchi, spooner, pearson, leivo, beagle. Take your pick. In fact take any pick you can get.
Not to mention dumping Eriksson for whatever you can, or send him to utica until he waives to wherever will take him. Or mutually terminates his contract. Who cares he's trash.
No thats not going to affect other FA, he made his comments public he made his own bed.
Benning is walking himself into a huge cap crunch where he’s going to be forced to move Tanev. And no team is going to give us a 1st rounder to help us out of it
Lol yes it is. Look at what every other competent GM is and has been doing. So your answer is a non answer. Thanks for clarifying. Because none of what you said is realistic
[MOD]Lol yes it is. Look at what every other competent GM is and has been doing.
There's literally reports of teams interested in both sutter and tanev.
Its not that hard. Even a potato can have reasonable results.

Vegas will have to clear quite a bit of cap space after they sign Karlsson. Miller has been talked about quite a bit, but what about someone like Erik Haula?
Okay . Tanev has no value and Benning couldnt trade sutter bc nobody wants him. Even though they did a few months ago, and not because Benning has an inflated price because he's a moron and things sutter and beagle are foundational....It’s funny you throw out terms like “moron” and “potato” and yet fail to see yourself in the mirror.
Tanev has no value. Did you miss where it was reported this weekend that Dim floated Sutter out there and was met with silence?
I’m guessing you’re just ignoring the 1st round pick it cost a team to dump 6.75m for 1 year?
Schaller is the closest thing to being able to dump without it costing something or getting a bad contract back as he’s probably better suited to a different or better team rather than a garbage team who would rather continue collecting middle6 players
“That (Miller trade) was just the start of what we’re trying to do to add to our group in that range, to support our younger guys and make us more competitive,” said Canucks general manager Jim Benning. “There is still work to be done on that front and I’m going to keep pounding away.”
