Damn that sucks I was hoping it was something else that kept him out today. Brain injuries are brutal. Hope he fully heals and can move past these issues, whether that takes days, weeks, months, whatever.

If I remember correctly, TT no longer had the puck, Zadorov left his skates, raised his elbow, contacted the head (basically his MO)...and got 0 min / $ / games for it

Zadorov got chest. Head whiplashed but wasn't a point of contact (Unless it hit on the ice not sure if it did or he braced enough to avoid that) It seems a legal hit where the Cernak one head was a major point of contact...

I can't recall exactly either, but I do believe the key point was that the puck was long gone.

I love tuevo (still), much more than zadorov but he clearly didn’t leave his skates until after the hit, which wasn’t to the head. I think he hit it on the ice or it was just his brain bouncing around in his skull.

I hope he recovers swiftly. I’m going to f*** off back to the other boards now. Good luck.
