translation: The other NHL/KHL players that already finished their season won't be seen on the national team this spring.

It was a tough season to begin with as so many of our potential WHC players doesn't have contract at the moment. Next year we should be a lot better situation with our NHL players.'

Barkov probably isn't coming because of Quenneville and they don't want to risk it that he won't be 100% ready for the next year. It will be a huge year for them.
