What happens if the flashlights are used to shine in players faces? Any rules about that? I don't even know if it would be noticeable, but I can see it happening.

I doubt the old soviet era flashlights pack that much power. Lasers are a common problem in soccer though on a related note.

Maybe the us team should have done something - then they might not look like a 2nd rate team...

What got you all mad? :(

You may be right thought. They need to lend these "experts" team Canada are using!

Maybe they took a flight from Vancouver, and went over the Pacific, and if they left at 6pm, and took 24 hours to get there, it would still be dark because of the time zones. So technically they would have to combat 24-hours of darkness one time.

The only logical explanation.
