I don't have much faith in any of our prospects honestly. At least not beyond trade bait. Howard included. I just feel like the actual, massive decisions that have to be made with this team have to be made in June. And more assets in our pocket means more options.

I'm hoping that JBB and the staff really do like Duclair. Like, maybe this is a guy we have tried to bring in before. The worst case is he comes in, puts on a good show while the team flounders all around him, we miss the playoffs, and now we don't have Thompson or a 3rd to improve next year's team, which is gonna need an overhaul even if Vasy does find his game.

I always liked Duclair, but found it concerning that Florida (at least in the series against us) would demote him to the 4th line and sometimes even scratch him.

This trade only makes sense if they re-sign him. Team is going absolutely nowhere and wasting the few assets we have on a rental just isn't smart.

I just hope Cooper keeps him in the top 6.

I’m good with 5 million per year for Stamkos but that’s the absolute most I’d pay him all he is now is a power play one timer guy

This makes me think they're signing Eamon Powell assuming he wants to sign. Powell had zero path to the NHL with Thompson and Crozier ahead of him
