Curious if a player in any sport/league has ever been traded and became an MVP within a couple of season of the trade.

Also what is the Hall for Larson trade in comparison to other sports.

For me its...

Steph Curry for Kyle Lowry
Drew Brees for Sam Bradford
Aaron Judge for Jose Bautista

I'm not sure Larsson has the effect on a game that current Lowry and the Bautista of two years ago have.

You mean Hall for Larsson ?

How can you get one of the biggest steal in the history of human kind wrong?

Hall is a better player on both sides of the puck under Hynes.

A lot more deception and patience to his game.

Trades in other sports are so hard to compare because of the factors surrounding them.

Like the Marlins trading Miguel Cabrera for scraps was more of a money thing.

The Oilers legit made this trade because they believed Larsson was equal value and talent return on Hall. That's why it's so damn horrible and mind boggling. Nothing more to it like money or other circumstances.

Devil fan here. You cannot compare Hall to Lebron. Completely different level.

Maybe i was being.over dramaric. I changed the comparisons for better conversation.

Curry, brees and judge are all superatars in their respective league but.clearly not the best player so the.comparisons should work better now

Does the name "Joe Thornton" mean anything to you?

So then why does chiarelli still have his job ?

-This one is easy. Boston gave Babe Ruth to the Yankees and it took Boston almost 100 years to recover.

-Gretzky to the Kings
-Hornets trade away Kobe Bryant

-Thats got to be the biggest 3 of all time.

That is quite the list of infamy that the Oilers and Chiarelli will go down with
