In terms of right wingers, he's behind only Kane, Kessel, and Perry in AAV. Seems about right. Both sides did well here. Tarasenko is set for life, Blues lock up their top offensive talent for much of his prime at a reasonable cap hit.

Good PR decisions. Announce the Oshie trade at 4 p.m. the day before a holiday weekend when no one's paying attention, announce the Tarasenko deal at 12 p.m. (on the dot) on a Tuesday, when everyone's paying attention.
