Also I hate the whole idea of a "shutdown line", as in you should be aiming for a line who's best possible outcome is to come out even. Flawed way of thinking, IMO.

Yep, so dumb. Can't score or pressure the other team offensively so we demote Nyquist/Mantha and promote Glendening and Abdelkader. I'm sure that'll make the offense more productive!

Your gonna have to live with the shutdown line. You need to sit down and think about it

What is blashill supposed to do? Glendenning is a player who kills the offense on the team. You gonna put him on the first line? Second line? No where? Ok who's going to replace him? Not like we can bring datsyuk back. Helm isn't an offensive stud. Neither is abdelkader. Or half the team

Yea, just saw the HSJ tweet confirming Mrazek. Haven't seen anything definite about Bishop, but with Vasi playing tonight, logic would dictate that Bishop gets the start tomorrow.

Mantha's style has changed so much in Detroit. He's a playmaker. I know his passing is awesome but I wish they told him to shoot the puck more, especially on the PP.
