I don't know anything about him and he went undrafted but is D Jonatan Nielsen at all on the radar in Sweden? He was ranked #104 by ISS but was almost a 2012 eligible player.

If Johan Mattsson (7th rounder, CHI) makes the team, would he be the starter or the back-up?

Any goalie is gonna have a monster of a year to nab the starting cap away from Johan Gustafsson (Wild).

First priority for Mattsson is to find a team for next year where he'll get starts.

I do not see Ryan making it. Larsson and Landeskog will be in NHL. I am doubtful of Thorell and Pa.Westerholm aswell.
Would like to see Aberg but that will never happend. Could see Boyce as a fourth line grinder.

They didn't want the head scout to see him to give it away they were watching him. Because he wasn't on a national team, it can be pretty easy to pick off who a team is watching if the head scout is present at a non-national tourney game. This came straight from their mouths.
ahh, ok, thx for clarifying.

btw, Sorensen is an exciting player, definitely hope he can succeed, however i fear his style kinda leaves him more exposed to injuries than others.

My try on a updated, possible line up

Pontus Ã…berg - Johan Larsson - Rikard Rakell
Max Friberg - Joakim Nordström - Johan Sundström
Filip Forsberg - Victor Rask - Erik Nyström
Joachim Nermark - Jeremy Boyce-Rotevall - John Westin

HM: Sebastian Collberg, Westerholm tvins, David Lillieström-Karlsson, Ludvig Rensfeldt, Erik Thorell

Jonas Brodin - Patrik Nemeth
John Klingberg - Oscar Klefbom
Fredrik Claesson - Mattias Bäckman

Personal HM: Patrik Norén, Johan Alm, Ludvig Byström

Johan Gustafsson
Anton Forsberg / Jonas Gunnarsson

You might say Westin and Nyström are homer picks but both of them have been given a lot of ice time in Modo and done a good job. Westin is the perfect pick for a forth line, gritty, tough and a hard worker whereas Nyström is a speedy winger with good hands and vision. Though, a more objective person might want to replace Nyström with Sebastian Collberg.

Top lines should look something like this IMO:

Friberg - Larsson - Sundstrom (Was great in Lake Placid)
Ã…berg - Zibanejad - Rakell

Pretty sure Zibanejad will be back in Djurgarden soon. I would also like to see Collberg on the team.

Hoping that Westin makes it, I know missing most of last season to injury had to of impacted his development but glad to hear he's been doing well with Modo.

By the sounds of it from Coach Mac today, wins/losses may be a big deciding factor on Mika going home or not.

I'd probably lean towards him going back at this point...no doubt though he's proven he's big and fast enough in excess. He's just tentative and I think he's deferring the puck to other players, worrying he'll make mistakes.

He's going to be a train when he fills out.

As a Wild fan, I'd be thrilled with this. Sweden's #1 center, top pairing/#1 defenseman and the starting goalie in our system? Hot damn...
