Where did a 41-game suspension come from? I thought he was suspended indefinitely like 5 years ago when this happened, and recently the NHL suspended him for the 2019-2020 season and playoffs.

It feels idiotic that you can serve your game suspension in other league. If it were up to me, if he wants to come back to NHL he should have to write a contract with a NHL team, then he will sit half of the season. What kind of punishment is this, it's ridiculous.

Or, I guess he technically could but then he'd need to clear waivers before entering the league again (the same thing that happened to Nabokov). So no-one's gonna want to sign him.
