I don’t quite understand it. I mean Pietrangelo, Parayko and Faulk is an insane right side but why? This is pretty much the reason we traded Shattenkirk.

Lots of money for a D that is questionable defensively. However, he is one of the rare Ds that scored 15 goals in the last few years, and he did 3 times... That has some value.

Bokk is not an amazing prospect IMO, so it was pretty cheap.

It's also why the Canes traded him. He was going to be stuck on the 3rd pair behind Hamilton and Pesce, so they moved him as an inefficiency. I don't get this for the Blues unless they're planning to ditch someone else.
