I prefer to see them follow the San Jose path to a victory in 6. They should absolutely be able to pull it off if they display the killer instinct that closed out their Western foes. Two wins away from immortality.

Parayko has been our 1D all playoffs. Petro has played like Subban, which is not an insult. He's just been more offensive and he's done a great job at that. But Parayko/Bouwmeester have drawn the top line every series. And they should, Parayko is playing the best in the D zone of any of our players by far. Of anyone in this series as well IMO.

Totally agree. He's basically never overmatched, he knows how to use his size and it rules, I think we all would like him a little meaner, but he does enough physically that it doesnt really matter. Haven't even mentioned that his shot is top 3 hardest probably.

Blues really kicked the **** out of the Bruins in this one. Chara is wounded. Pasternak and McAvoy took some big time hits. Blues need to continue the physical play at all costs.

Berube is Zapp Branigan, just sending wave after wave of his own men at the problem. Get ready to be a cannonball, guys. Sanford seems to get it.

Sunny led our forwards in ice time tonight. Barbs had 9 hits. That’s not just a 4th line anymore. It’s a 4 line. 4 times 4.

I think a lot of folks didn't realize just how critically important Sunny D is to this team right now. He has been unreal in the playoffs.

I'm not going to complain. Our defense is going to succeed or fail on the backs of Petro/Bouwmeester/Parayko/Dunn. Give those guys as much ice time as you can. It's gut check time. Win or lose with your best players.

Full disclosure: I have no idea why I think this. But...I just have this feeling that the Blues are going to make this happen. This team is like no other I've ever seen. They won't die. They won't give up. They just keep coming. Feels like they are going to will this to happen.

Sanford is real nice player when he has fire in his belly. He can get complacent though.

They didn’t expect him to be so on top of it this game, and gave him time to make his own mistakes. He didn’t. They won’t give him that benefit in game 5. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some funny stuff aiming for his mouth, either.
