If stamkos does decide to test free agency, what percent chance do you give the leafs to get him?
I have a hard time seeing Stamkos making it to UFA, if TB offers 8 years 11 mill or more is he going to throw away the extra 11 million? since he could only sign for 7 years instead of 8. I doubt it?
Ideal scenario for me
2016 free agency sign Stamkos to
3 years 14 million per (with an under the table deal to then resign after that....)
7 years 8 million per
over pay him for 3 years when we're not contending, have him from 26-29, then 8 year deal from 29-36
