I’m behind the action, watching my recording, but this has been Walman’s best game. He looks like an NHL defender. If you’d told me before the season that Gunnarsson would be out for the year, I’d have thought Mikkola would be a regular in the line-up. To see him piddle away the opportunity and for Walman to assert himself more and more has been a real surprise. Good for Walman.

This is really a sloppy game. It's not the game I remember. Almost no one on either team can keep the puck on his stick for longer than a second or two. there's almost immediate pressure from the defence, and both teams seem to be panicking and making bad plays. They are hesitating too long, and it wipes away the chance to make a play (solid pass, shot, or initiate their own move around the defender.
