I mean he still has the best save percentage, GAA, and GSAX on the team. He’s got a bit of a point here.

Tarasov had two hot games end of Dec/start of Jan, so I get him getting a look… and he followed it up with two stinkers. Martin has done nothing to warrant playing ahead of Elvis. And from an asset management point of view, you would think they would want to keep the guy locked into a big contract playing.

that is the biggest problem. If the contract was expiring soon, there would be some interest. For example Devils could be interested in a goalie but four more years no thanks.

Yeah, a lot of teams won't tie big money up in a goalie because they so unpredictable. Some teams use three goalie monster. Odds are one have big season.
