Calgary doesn't want the lesser goaltender with more term. The only reason to move Markstrom would be to make way for Wolf.

If they’re traded for each other then I imagine Columbus is throwing in as well because otherwise it makes no sense for Calgary.

Elvis was Jack Campbell bad for an entire year. He hasn’t done that much this year to show he’s improved since. He’s also is dealing with something mentally. He’s also overpaid at 5.4M. He’s also not getting along with his team mates and seems frustrated in CBJ. This isn’t about heat from the back up at all.
