G:
-So that's what 60 minutes looks like
-Ehrhoff/Tallinder/Myers, what a turnaround, they all looked like new players
-Miller
-Hodgson with the faceoff domination
-Girgs and Risto must stay, loved both their games tonight.
-Ott played like a captain tonight

B:
-Couple ticky tack calls in the 3rd
-Leino battled, but it's just not there. Hoping Grigs gets a look on that line at some point.

U:
-So many leafs fans

Awesome:
-So many butthurt leafs fans

I don't know what to think, if they play like this, there's no way they stay at the bottom. Trade Miller right ****in now!

The start of a new era

Good:
Myers, all over the ice tonight. Probably his best game this season
Ott
Miller
Myers
Tropp
Ehrhoff
Honestly, just put the entire ****ing team here. No passengers tonight.
Nolan, spreading the ice time around. John Scott played over 7 minutes FFS.

Bad/Ugly:
-I got nothing. You can tell they are not as good as the Leafs, but it was a team effort. Great job. It's so nice to be entertained and not bored to death by this team.

Zomg we won the first game under new management. Zomg we're going so far in the playoffs.

-------
Great to see a full game effort. Having games like this for the rest of the season even if we're losing more then winning will be nice.

G
Ted Nolan. Needs no further comment.
A lot. Just about every player.

B
Our arena packed with laughs fan. wtf?

U
See B

There's a few usual whipping boys who made noticable mistakes (Leino,Ennis,Myers), but the team played like a team tonight. That's the bigger than the 2 points.

We are, for a few hours at least, not the worst team in hockey. I'm gonna savor this moment.

Good:
-There is life!

Bad:
-I missed part of the game and it seems like a game you didn't want to miss a moment

I was curious before they played a game and I'm not suggesting it happen, but what does it take for Nolan to keep the job?

-Ott with his best game of the year
-Tallinder was very good
-Pysyk with a rebound game
-Ehrhoff in the last min of the game
-TEAM DEFENSE

Bad:
-Ehrhoff the other 59 min....didn't think he looked too good

Ugly
-Nothin.

Stafford had one of his best games in a VERY long time.

Ott showed up and was huge.

Myers was in Dancing Condor mode, swooping all over, jumping into the play at the right times, and making decisive plays all night long.

A full 3 period game from almost everyone. No passengers. Everyone active. Involved.

BRAVO!

:handclap:

Oh god yes. I forgot what it looks like when a team shows up.
Miller was sharp
CoHo actually backchecked
Ennis was flying, actually all of Ott-Girgs-Ennis looked good
I want to party like its 1996.

B:
I dont even care tonight

U:
Blue and white outnumbered blue and gold
Gamecenter
No MSG-B in Florida so I get stuck with WGR.

Feels GOODMAN DAT COHMPEET

All those mad Leafs fans. Makes me mo--I mean smile. I didn't see a lot of the game because work. What was the best part of it all? I'm guessing the team played more than 12 minutes

G: Miller again- nice to see him not face 40+ shots
Ott- scoring and hitting
Myers- best game in a while
Foligno- crashing the net. His game.
Stafford- I never thought I would put him here, but his best game of the season.
Girgs- I liked what I saw. I want even more.
B: Why is Larsson not playing?
EB: (No Ugly... I prefer.. Even Better for nights like these): Toronto fans go home with a loss.

I'm not a Sabres fan so I don't watch them regularly but if one game is all it took Nolan to get the team to compete for the full game then Rolston must've been a pretty bad coach.

I'm happy with the win but let's not kid ourselves too much, the laughs were horrid tonight. They are gutted down the middle. Still, the Sabres took advantage of a weak opponent, mostly staying out of the box. Some real bogus calls.

I like the fat Nolan is challenging vets with lots of playing time and cushioning kids.

This is how you grind out an 82-game sked.

Most of the positives have been listed but I wasn't too impressed with Ville Leino just spinning off of guys along the boards. He played decent in the middle of the ice but none of the board play he had in Philly or parts of his first season here exist anymore. The cycle dies on his stick at the moment and on three different occasions tonight he had his back turned to the play as a pass came in his direction.

Ron Ron was bad. Unless it was taking selfies with his Aquafina water. He was really great at that.

G:

By far the boys' best effort of the season.
The long drive home for the Laffs' faithful. :D
1 game and 1 win for the new guys!

B:

Laffs fans outnumbering Sabres fans, as usual...

U:

MSG not working on my TV and thus being forced to use a stream.

But all in all...

Listening to the presser. Did anyone catch the "He was frustrated by the way the season was going. He didnt like the way the club was competing" by Nolan regarding Ott.

Holy cow. I think that RR might legitimately be the worst coach in NHL history. Check out the firing/hiring thread a few down -- some of what the players have said make my head spin.
