Jones has his issues...but he's not their main problem and his numbers are mostly based on the horrible play in front of him. I mean you've just seen how careless and dumb the Sharks were and how they invited the Caps back into this one...and this was actually one of their better defensive efforts this season.

It's crazy but he really is so good on breakaways and two on ones, it's the other stuff he has issues with.

How many of those can you blame Jones for though? Many forwards are just not good enough against the puck and their defense is good at many things but not at defending. They have a lot of turnovermachines and braindeads on the roster, too. That icing around 59:30...doesn't get any dumber...they were begging for this...and I'm not talking about Jones.
