OK? I think I like it. We are not in cap crumch and Sheary in theory could be useful even though Im not a big fan of his. We lose almost nothing in the trade so Im cool.

Still, Sheary was one of my top targets this offseason. Give him a chance with Eichel and see if he could do what he did with Crosby: produce.

At the very least, Sheary is a nice add to our bare top-9 LW position and is a solid even strength producer.

Overall, like it. And could see it being realistic from months back.

We didn't trade for Hunwick. We agreed to take Hunwick to lower the price of trading for Sheary. He can easily be waived to Rochester or be the 7th D in the pressbox...no harm in having depth at that position by any means.

Hunwick deal is gross but I’m guessing they send him down to the minors and take the $1.2m cap hit.
