Trade him to the leafs for their 1st in 19 and 20. This will give Canada a contending team which I am ok with. By the time our rebuild is ready Weber will have retired.

I'd rather Nielsen and their first. Nielsen is close to being NHL ready and he's a very good prospect.

Weber at 7mil to Toronto for Horton, Martin, Kapanen, Räsänen, Nielsen and 2019 1st and 4th.

This clears up 4+ mil for the Leafs.

You got it all wrong. Markov is a shining example of a player who maintained a high level of play well into his late 30's and is frequently brought up by MB cheerleaders as an example of why Weber's horrific contract really doesn't matter. He was excellent right up until the day that Bergevin decided not to bring him back, at which point he became GARBAGE according to these same people.
