Basically naming a captain to have a captain lol
This trend of not naming a captain I the weird thing. This has become a way bigger deal than it should be.

It may to take time for him to be effective again (if ever), and the media is going to be up his ass for poor play.
they could go without until man mountain comes back ( which looks like they will). the last thing the habs need now is a lame duck captain with his eye on the calendar. So should the team have named another player captain since the obvious and best choice will miss the start of the season? That seems silly, no?
Feel bad for Weber.
Poor guy won't deserve all the pain he's about to endure from media and fans this upcoming season. lol.
No you're right. The best player is always the captain and price is the captain of the Canadiens...I thought the rule was the best player on the team is made captain. So it’s not Price?
Is it as cool as this? It's cool to have a captain for 30/82 games per year until 2026.
Captain of a sinking ship unfortunately.
But I do, I really do. Older player on a terrible team with terrible management and coaching. You shouldn't, and I bet you don't.
Well he's fixed now. A brand new Weber that could surprise..It's cool to have a captain for 30/82 games per year until 2026.
