I actually enjoyed the game. The game was more free flowing and enjoyable. I liked Chekhovic's game - he had some really strong plays in the DZone, Pasichnuk looks solid, obviously still green in some places, and Barabanov continues to impress.

Sharks D also looked much more activated with Burns, Ferraro, and Karlsson going deeper in the offensive zone and generating more opportunities. I also liked Leonard's play before his injury.

Really not liking Gambrell's game lately. He's trying hard, but he takes too long looking for plays that it leads to turnovers. The last few games Marleau has looked slow, which was what was keeping him in the league.

Bedard played in a bad WHL division in a weird abbreviated season. Not saying he isn’t the better player but it’s not nearly as big a gap as you make it sound.

My point is that being eligible for the lottery to win Bedard isn’t the same as getting him. Having a 100% chance at Wright is far superior to having a 25% chance (at best) at getting Bedard.

Edit: Wright scored 66 points in 58 games as a 15/16 year old, not a 16/17 year old.

I guess I get pulling the goalie with a two-goal deficit, but I hate that they've been giving up a lot of empty net goals lately. Karl is probably -5 on EN goals against in the last three weeks alone. Though I hate +/- period so long as empty net goals count because that's stupid.
