SNOG announcement

Holy crap, we broke a contender for the longest SNOGless streak.

Devils 2 (Hughes, Subban)
Sharks 1 (Meier)

Congrats @Anomie2029 on your first SNOG of the season and second of your career! Interesting old-graphic-recycling trivia: looks like you got your first on a Sharks loss too.

Really? Labanc took a low cost deal and it ended up backfiring on him. That's why I thought maybe him in a package deal would lead to a second round pick because I see his value as quite low at the moment.

That goal might have been on Jones. There was a devil in front blocking though.

Another way to look at it is that it may have backedfired on DW. Being arbitration eligible RFA probably diminished the trade return somewhat.

DW totally mis-read the outcome of the signings, and lack of signings, that it would have on this season. He pulled far too much cap space from the offense to the defense. Ended up with the league's most costliest defense by a significant margin. I was warning about this before the season started.

What's odd about this is the Sharks being ranked #5 in the league for the most scored upon per GA/G.

The Lake
Burns looks more like himself without EK65 out their taking up spotlight.

True is not NHL ready, hopefully he takes full advantage of the rest of this lost season to get ready.

Gregor adds much needed speed and grit, not sure why they haven't been giving him more time in the bigs to get up to speed.

It's kind of like olden days, watching every game with an eye towards what the team is going to look like next year...

Lost in the SW!
I thought Jones performance was good, last night. He made some big saves and keept
us it close. His tracking of the PK winning goal was a little strange, etc. Over all 2 acceptable games in
a row for him.
