Yeah just looked again. One thing i am learning because of Smith is that the awards in the NCAA are so weirdly voted on. How a player can be top 3 for player of the year, but an award that is basically the same thing by description and that player is no where to be found in the top 10.Think that was Hockey East Player of the Year not Hobey, but the Hobey top 3 will almost certainly be Gauthier, Celebrini, and another player who didn't have as good a year as Mr. July or Perreault.
It's so much better to hear it from player that has seen the building part and the winning part. Absolutely 100% trust what Stamkos says here. He is a free agent this summer though, it would funny if he came here to mentor the young guys haha (probably not realistic)I’d rather listen to Stamkos speak than 99% of hockey media. Guy seems to just get it.
I dunno, he's won two cups. Give him enough money, maybe? It's so much better to hear it from player that has seen the building part and the winning part. Absolutely 100% trust what Stamkos says here. It's kinda funny watching him cross check someone in the back on the boards and he's the one who floats off.So I’ve noticed the last few games that Smith seems to be making a concerted effort to play more physical and battle guys on the boards, but it’s honestly somewhat comical to watch because it’s obvious he’s never done it before in his life. It looks like a kid copying things he’s seen and then checking over his shoulder to see if his dad gives him a thumbs up.
Don’t get me wrong, I love that all his major weaknesses (faceoffs, defensive engagement, physicality) are clearly being actively addressed in the back-half of this season—it shows that he both knows his weaknesses and wants to put in the work to fix them. But it’s also hilarious to watch him tentatively cross-check a guy into the boards.
Yeah he’s uh, not very good at it.It's kinda funny watching him cross check someone in the back on the boards and he's the one who floats off.

Always a funny thing. Gushchin has that too where he’s just not very good at it but tries sometimes.Yeah he’s uh, not very good at it.
Smith definitely fits into the Eklund genre of “cute”.I mean truly we’re going to be the cutest team in the nhl
Realistically, that’s what needs to happen for this team to be a contender the way the Joe Thornton eta Sharks were perennial contenders.Boy, wouldn’t it be great if Smith was a 1st line star center? …and we also win Celebrini?

So should we get into a fight with Blues fans that Musty is better than Dvorsky?
Not much of a fight, musty is better then god himself. So should we get into a fight with Blues fans that Musty is better than Dvorsky?
Sharks fans transcending battles with other franchises and taking on religion itselfNot much of a fight, musty is better then god himself.
Can someone explain how the ohl works? Lol
Like all I see is Musty getting 6pts, hat tricks, etc. But he is under 2ppg. So like, what is he doing the other games?
On one leg too. Seems a bit showboaty to me.He plays goalie every third night, the OHL is crazy man.
