You can debate the trust the coach has in him, but as soon as you bring up his performance in those roles, then you’re just wrong about Dillon. He’s been matched against plenty of star players this season: ROR, Kane, Kucherov, Crosby, Gaudreau, McDavid off the top of my head. He’s shut them all down. The full post I made about it is here:
