I liked Kubalik’s game. Quiet game but did nothing to hurt the team and used his size a couple times.

Thank god he turned down the 22M/4YR offer from us.

He'll probably provide good 2nd line quality play this year but he's declined and the trend is unlikely to be reversed with his skating being the primary issue.

Yet another case of our pro scouting staff being years behind when evaluating talent.

His skating doesn't look bad. He had the best season of his career one year ago. He got hurt last year and has been bouncing around. He needs to get acclimatized and he needs to play rw. Half that is on the coach. Play him right wing ffs. He was good against Winnipeg when he played right. Just play him right.

Its a tough call. DJ will have some input. I am hoping the best players make it.
Although I would have Kastelic as my 4C he is solid.
I think there will be some disappointment.
