Going 3-4 to start the year isn't horrible by itself, it's the fact that we played 5 of those games at home against what should be lesser to equal opponents.

How are we gonna manage to get any sort of winning streak once we start playing top teams with the way we're playing right now?

Our team was in the process of being sold and the guy who would have chosen that coach is a dead man walking. It sucks that the sale dragged on like it did but I said it at the time, it might cause this season to turn into a write-off. Unfortunately it seems like we are walking that path right now. But allowing Dorion to pick another coach makes no sense at all.

Easy to outshoot the opponent when they build a big lead on you and just sit back, or when you get 8 powerplays.

There are many problems and I think the first step is getting a new coach in here. I'd try a new coach before I start shipping out core players.
