Methot supposedly has a "slight knee sprain" and is day to day, which could mean almost anything in SensSpeak. Anderson has been day to day for a month now. I'm crossing my fingers that he'll be back for Boston.

Yup! If we go 9-9 in our last 18 games (putting us at 56 points) we should almost definitely make the playoffs! Sounds good to me boys! Buckle up!

I'm definitely not getting excited yet. Although I want to be optimistic, I feel nervous that every game will be the game that starts a slump to take us out of the playoff race.

Yup, that is right. 9-9 gives us a 99.9% chance of making it. 7-9-2 gives us a 94.8% chance of making it.

Methot getting injured was a real stinker, it seems our players get injured on nothing plays this year (I don't think Cooke meant to slice up Karlsson)

That Islanders goal should have counted, we were very lucky on that one

BUT the Islanders DID lose a 2 goal lead in like 3 min. So I agree... Karma's A *****!

These Sens have been seriously awesome to watch -- even though at times been terrifying to watch!

well, Gryba's stick was pointing straight up in the air. That's a high stick.

If I was at the game though, I'd let the ref have it and maybe even get tossed out.

Lucky me, I was at home, and only saw the third period on TV.

Lets give credit to Methot here though, his minutes are going to be tough to replace. There will be a trickle down effect. Phillips will be getting some tougher minutes, Benoit, Wiercioch, Borowiecki, Lundin will have to take on more responsibility. Gonchar likely will have to see the bulk of top opposition now.

Not a great transition period when you have the Bruins coming to town. Should be interesting to see what the personnel changes/or lack thereof will be for Thursday.

I'm feeling like its Benoit who's the next one to step up.

Even though they only scored on one of their PPs, I thought the Isles had found our weakness there. We do a great job pressing on the points, but that leaves us vulnerable on the cross ice passes, especially when one of their defencemen moves close to the goal on the back door.
