That's what happens when you take out the glue of the hockey team...They also started sucking after both Wideman and Boro got hurt

He was noticeable. Too bad he'll be out when Smith comes back. He did more in the limited ice time he got compared to what Burrows got. Boucher and his boners for flacid old vets.watching chlapik was a breath of fresh air.
who knew that its useful to have some skill in the bottom six as well?

Why was Dominico recalled? Why was he even claimed again?
I get that they were missing key pieces tonight, but there should be enough speed and skill to at least be dangerous.
I don't know what to think about this team anymore. They need to go on a miracle run to mKe the playoffs, and if they're bad enough to get a lottery pick, karlsson is probably jaded enough to walk, and the team doesn't have their first round next season.
Just frusterating as ****.
But if we keep this year's top 10 pick we give up next year's pick no?We do have our first rounder next season provided we finish in the bottom-10. So yeah, we got it.

So harpur and dido sent back down. I confused. Is harpur amazing or is he Ann AHL d man?
When he's up here boucher seems to trust him. But then he gets sent down

Yeah I have no idea with this was argued at length when he clearly tripped him.Just took a look. The replay from the back clearly shows Pageau putting the blade of his stick behind the Yandle's left skate as he's skating backwards right at the blue line. Stupid unnecessary play by Pageau.
count me in!!!Hope everyone has a nice holiday season. Best gift for me? 3 full days with no Sens games.
I thought Boucher was supposed to be a PP specialist, that's my biggest disappointment. It's too bad.
DiDomenico, Englund, Harpur, and Taylor were are sent back to Belleville, because they all live there, and will spend the Christmas break there, or perhaps go home to be with their families.Well, that sucks. Would've been nice for those guys to get an NHL paycheck for an extra few days over the break.

Every team does this over the Christmas break, with most of their call ups.
Marcus Hogberg, was sent to Belleville, from Brampton of the ECHL yesterday as well.

Ottawa shut out 4 out of 11 games in December.
It’s just not working.
We haven’t played the same system as last year, so I’m not sure why people are comparing about this. I don’t think people actually understand systems and know what they’re watching. We are not playing a neutral zone 1-3-1 a lot anymore .I'm officially sick of Boucher's "system" and his commitment to playing useless vets. The rest of the league is progressing with offence and young talent, leaving us in the dirt. There's no regular on this team that was drafted after 2012. That's ****ing ridiculous.
More importantly I'm sick of this owner and his content with mediocrity. I can predict the next few years already. Hire an unproven or desperate coach for peanuts and make the playoffs one year then fire him after a year. There's no plan here to be like Pittsburgh, Chicago, St. Louis, LA, Nashville, Tampa, and soon Toronto (enjoy those days). Just enough so we're not a bottom feeder. I long for the day when we don't look like a Mickey Mouse organization that relies on a Cinderella run.
The blame for the state of the franchise starts at the very top. You get what you pay for.
Karlsson signed his 8 year extension 6 years ago. I wonder what people would have thought if you told them the Sens would be in a worse position in 2018 than 2012. After Boucher gets fired, Karlsson could play for his 5th coach coach in 10 years (if he's still here).
Now we enter an offseason of anxiety. If Karlsson is not here in a year's time then Melnyk can enjoy looking at an even emptier building every night. We have a player who might be considered one of the greats of all time when his career is over and we surrounded him with mediocrity for the better part of a decade. A huge round of applause for this organization!

As for being worse than 2012. Not at all.
It's the other trades that dahlen could have been used for that hurts. He was given away as is. And he had good value.Dahlen could never play a game for Vancouver and they’d still win the trade
Not allowed to forcheck or posses the puck. It shouldn't be a surprise they never score. Also if they do get a chance you can bet it dies on number 95's stick. And we thought November was a bad month.
