Crawford also has a pretty good track record with young players. He leaned heavily on Owen Nolan as a 16/17 year old in the OHL and then coached Quebec/Colorado through their main "formative" years. Then moved onto Vancouver where he helped shape the Sedins, Bertuzzi, Ohlund, Jovanovski and more into the top players they all were. All of them were players with warts to their games and legitimate concern as to whether they would be high-end NHLers. He was a hard, hard coach but I think he was a good, strong hand to guide players who wanted to push themselves and improve.

Not sure what Raymond does for us.

Pretty disappointing how little Chlapik and White have played tonight.

Super frustrating no-call on Duchene. Could have been a nasty outcome.
