random thought but the red bar along the bottom of the white jerseys is such a big part of the team's overall brand/look. The Adidas jerseys didn't have it and felt very plain as a result.

The key to the look is having that one solid red bar between all black underneath and all white on top. There are other teams who do red/black/white but that black-red-white transition is truly "the Ottawa look", you can always tell it's Ottawa and not Carolina/NJ/Chicago the second you see it. Should never be dropped again.
