Do they not hit as much in the league he played in over in Europe?

I played for a long time and we learned early to not blindly skate as bent over and exposed as he commonly does.

I thought Euro leagues had bigger ice and less contact? But even in the AHL, speed of the game is slower. So he might have had over the course of the Worcester season the same number of collisions but possibly less damage inflicted.

Anyway, TMac's comments imply to me that Hertl still has things to learn.
