The success of the Vegas Golden Knights is undeniable proof that the league's talent pool is the best it's ever been and the Dilution Theory is bull****.

oh I didn't know there was more than one expansion team that entered the league this year.

Why is it that the only people complaining about expansion are Leafs fans? are they still salty that they haven't won a Cup since the first time the league expanded?

How am i supposed to respond to something so idiotic ? There's been expansion teams in the past ? Almost every one of them sucked ? Ipso facto Vegas is the exception to 99% of expansion teams stinking up the league ?

1991 isn't 2017.

OP -> logical fallacy

1st resp.-> non sequitur

2nd resp.-> "it's the current year"

Rules are much more favorable now for expansion teams.

Look at Ottawa and Tampa draft, teams were allowed to protect 2 goalies and 14 position players.

This again?

I've been saying this since day one, but teams should not be rewarded for losing. It's what the L in OTL stands for.

Teams that lose games after regulation are rewarded with an extra point, possibly moving up in the standings as a result.

No other pro sports league actually rewards teams for losing, short of a better draft pick.

Losing teams in rugby union can get up to two standings points in a loss (context: a win is worth 4 standings points).
