ODC is really taking it up a notch, but come on, everyone is wrong sometimes, and no one hated that trade more than me, but enough with the Lisin crap, he's paid his dues.

Seriously, it's no secret, Rick Nash has to be better, more than any other forward, he has to produce.

I convinced myself that the Werek/Lindberg trade offsets the Lisin/Korpi trade with Phoenix and Donnie M

Torts came in late, and pushed out most of the bottom 6 in offseason, without a backup plan
Dumping Orr led to Brashear/Boogaard/Scott
Dumping Betts led lots of late lost faceoffs
Dumping Betts, Sjostrom and Korpikoski led to recreating the PK

aside from Korpi, none were real major losses, but it didnt need to be so much at once

and is that so crazy really ?

last season

mcdonagh inc playoffs. total games played 102

total points 60

nash inc playoffs. total games played 90

total points 49

its NOT out of the question.

Nash played through a concussion addled season last year. The year before that he was a point per game scorer. We haven't seen nearly enough to say McDonagh's going to post more points than him.

Check out this tidbit: No NHL team has ever had three players wearing numbers 61, 62, and 63 in the lineup at the same time for a regular season game.

Start planning the parade.

Agreed, its wacky to think, we'd be in big trouble if that were that case too. But bringing up Lisin is everyones go to when ODC has an opinion. But yeah, Nash not outscoring MCD is out there ;)

thanks for having my back bn, much appreciated. but its not a big deal.

i can take it. i was wrong. lisin wasnt the player i thought he would become. my bad. i ate and continue to eat a big plate of crow on that one.

im still sticking with my prediction though. mcdonagh will outscore nash this season.

So Duclair made the cut? I guess I was wrong about that. I thought they would stick him in the AHL this year...

I should say I am happy that the kids are cracking the roster....

Nash was snakebit in the playoffs, i agree. But he was very good otherwise.

McDonagh may very well compete for the Norris. He is a superstar in the making.

What about Nash's shot, though? He looked very good in camp. Leaner. Quicker. Healthy.

I think this is a make or break year for Nash in NY.
