I still think St Louis has the best D group in the league.

The goaltending job is Elliot's now. Remains to be seen whether or not he's a legit starter.

This is a tough game. Home opener for the Blues. Not expecting a win here, but a tough fought game.

It's the first game of the season and they are at home. I really don't think they are looking past us. A point from this game is a success imo.

Their most important players are almost all playoff chokers. Until that's fixed, they'll always bow out early.

As seen, we have the most trouble with the big teams that skate well (Kings, Bruins, Sharks, Ducks, and the Blues). But it's a whole new season, so let's start out strong.

I'm guessing a narrow loss, but I won't be shocked if we beat them on penalties with Zucc and the King doing their job.

As long as we get to the playoff again I don't mind if the team needs time to gel, I just hope it doesn't take 7-8 games before the lines start clicking. We need the "first" line of BrassZucc???? to play well from the get go.
