Because a goalie being pulled within five minutes and after three shots against, two of those shot having gone in, is strange and can dramatically alter the outcome of the game. Therefore, it is something that all NHL fans can discuss if they so choose.

All of you who don't like it are welcome to ignore it.

Scrivens is horrible. I will gladly eat crow and say that.

Scrivens is good... So is Fasth. Not their fault they have ECHL caliber defense in front on them. Dunno why Edmonton fans always blame the goalie

Meanwhile Dubnyk is rocking a very respectable .917 SV% with the Yotes.

But ya, the Oiler goalies are sieves. Its not the horrible team defense.

Scrivens and Fasth are an adequate 1a/1b duo. Bottom 10 in the league for goaltending for sure, but still serviceable.

this is 100% true. their D isn't hte best but its way way betterthen years past. their goaltending has been pathetic this year. put in an average goalie and we don't have this conversation. oilers are 18th in shots against this year. its not strong but certainly not the worst out there.
