Another one bites the dust? Another brick in the wall?? Idk.. but man it's pretty crazy how injuries have been this year for the Yotes.

Eh not surprising when you put together a speedster lineup with egg shell bodies. Not the trainers or docs fault they get injured. Does anyone really think this lineup will not face the same issues next year. We are literally built to break.
What do you mean eggshell bodies? The ONLY one is Raanta, and we don't even know if his injury was a recurring injury. "Built to break"?

We must have the most injuries of all teams this season? This is becoming comical, although injuries aint fun

I don't think we have the most, but we have 5 significant players that will miss nearly the entire season. We are not deep enough to overcome this level of bad karma. One positive is that we got to watch Hill and Garland.

I think he means that the "new" NHL encourages small, lithe players rather than big, bruising, thick-bodied players who can hit and take hits. And he wouldn't be too wrong, to be fair. The speed and skill game that Tocchet and his ilk employ doesn't work with guys sporting grinder bodies.
