The Drai-Yamamoto-Kahun Chemistry was the only bright spot tonight. Koskinen was good too just got screwed
Kahun wasn't good at all. Meh at best. Yamamoto was the best Oiler tonight for me. His whiff at the end was costly though.

Just have to put it behind them. It was not even close to their best effort and every player will be the first to tell you that.

Turris and Barrie were both bad. Puljujarvi does some good things but you can still see he is ineffective at making subtle plays. Kahun and Koekkoek both had solid debuts.

The good and they were very good - Draisaitl, Kahun, Yamamoto, Koekkoek early on

Everybody else ranged from meh to a flaming, stinking bag of smelly disgusting flaming dog shit with RNH in particular being the latter.

There were a few positives. Pulju looks better than he did at any point in his last season here. Drai is still incredibly good. Slayer is a good #6 Dman, he was alright.

The highlight of the game were the tributes to Muckler and Joey. Downhill in a hurry from there.

Can't help but feel that very slow start and wasted 1st period costed us. Have to be more ready for games. Canucks showed up, no excuse for us not to as well.

Gonna go ahead and order my Brock Boeser jersey. Great player on a good team. Canucks are going places this season.
