Maybe my favourite Avs player. Yes more than Nate or Mikko, even though they are better. I just love Sammy boy. Hes just a special player and works so hard on the ice. Love his personality too.

No kidding. Next to Mikko, he might be the Avs best player so far. He's managed to take both his puck mobility and defensive play to another level. He's shooting more too, which is exactly what he needs to do.

If he's this good at 21, imagine what he's gonna be like at 25-28.

So happy we have him locked up for seven more years after this season at $5M. That's gonna be such a steal.

Great start, except when the team gets trapped down low. His size makes it difficult for him to defend against cycling. But he seems to be skating even better this year, if such a thing is possible. He still needs to learn to generate more offense with this skating, as opposed to skating around in the perimeter in his rushes, but I'm confident that will grow with experience. I love that contract.
