Who is Bennett playing with this season?
Was playing with Tkachuk then that didn't work so Tkachuk was moved on the Barkov line and Bennett had been playing with Reinhart, who is also struggling. Was moved off the top PP a few games ago.

Florida's a weird team. Perhaps they can find some chemistry with each other now when Tkachuk is out suspended. They better hurry though, because he'll be back soon enough and make it all about himself again.

Looks like it was all Huberdeau. Bennett this year without Huberdeau: 1g, 4a in 12 games.
Just to revisit this:

Bennett's 5v5 xG/60 and xG% are both way up from last year. He's just had incredibly poor puck luck to start the season:

IN ALL SITUATIONS
On ice:
8 goals vs 19.6 expected goals (4.57% on ice sh%)
Individual:
2 goals vs 6.2 expected goals (4.35 individual sh%)

Those are brutally unlucky numbers which will obviously go up - his individual stat line should be more like 13gp 6g 12p.

Huberdeau has also been snake-bitten but not nearly as much, with 10 goals vs 13.3 expected goals when he's been on the ice in all situations. But he's really struggled to create anything at 5v5.

TLDR: Bennett's performance was definitely was NOT all Huberdeau

Up to 7G 14A in 25 games. No, he doesn't miss Huberdeau at all.
2 goals against Vancouver and 3 assists against Seattle in last two games. Right now he is basically replacing Barkov on top line.

Meanwhile Huberdeau has 4G and 9A for all of 13 points

I'm not surprised. Barkov is great but I contended for years that Bennett was a star level talent not being provided the chance to shine. Now, he isn't gonna score 50 goals but that's a tertiary concern for a centre
