19 points in 25 games. Not as one dimensional as the stats indicate. It’s not easy to accumulate assists playing all season in the bottom six with guys who can’t finish.

very impressive and from the looks of this clip, he seems to be taller than his listed 5'11" height. Most importantly though, it shows he has vision and passing skills to go along with a very good shot.

I don't understand why his ice time is so low. He leads the team in scoring, despite playing less games than their other best players, yet he's 16th on the team in ice time. It's went up a little, and recently he's been playing about 15 and a half instead of his season average of about 14 and a half, but that's still very low for your best player. It's amazing that he's doing as well as he is with third line minutes. If he was playing first line minutes, he might be first in the league in scoring.

What is he saying?

He is saying (rough translation) "that he knew this season had to be his breakthrough season, he pushed himself really hard during the summer to be ready for the opportunity when/if it presented itself. Excuses would be pointless if he failed. Someone gave him the advice to shoot more because that's how you get points, so he has simply been shooting first rather than look for the pass. The hunger to succeed is there."
