Im pretty sure it’s because if it hit the camera. That automatically blows the play dead. It’s really unfortunate that the first time it happened was in a finals game.

Russia pretty much played the perfect third period until they scored 3-1

The last 10 minutes though.. that was not a pretty sight.

I really really want to hear the refs reasoning for not giving Russia the 5v3 there..
