That's not by my argument, no. He is asking for $9 (maybe), which is not a blank cheque.

Still waiting for answers on what he's worth to you per year.

Trying to determine if you have an agenda (you're seeming to try and prove he is replacement level propped up by circumstance) or just upset over an immaterial overpay.

Yeah I agree. It’s a shitty position. At this point I’d be happy with 8.5.

It’s a great PR tactic to leak a high number and then announce a lower one, so that’s what I’m silently praying for here.

the thought had occurred to me.

Kind of like when it was rumored that the re-sign cost of Mcdavid was 14 million, and then when it was 12.5 and that it was McDavid who wanted it lower, it was a PR win.

I still say Nurse comes in around 9, but it will be a bit lower.
